Built in 1891 by the famous Birmingham gunmaker WW Greener,
it is alleged that he made the gun that was used by Doc
Holliday in the famous "GUNFIGHT AT THE OK CORRAL".
Today it still retains many of its original features and
style of the Victorian era with stained glass windows, wood
panelling, decorative floors and very elaborate ceilings,
whilst still offering modern day comforts.
It is an excellent retreat for those seeking rest &
relaxation or a romantic escapade and is ideal for that
special occasion or celebration. Its location can also provide
the perfect base for those wishing to explore the surrounding
areas. The restaurant is a popular dining venue offering
home-cooked, traditional British/Welsh food. The friendly
atmosphere adds to the charming ambience of the castle;
making a visit here truly memorable. Click
